Die Gewinner der XBIZ Awards 2012 wurden gestern Abend im Rahmen einer feierlichen Gala im Barker Hangar, Santa Monica, USA, bekannt gegeben. Die 10. Jubiläums-Show des amerikanischen Adult Branchenmagazins wurde in diesem Jahr von den Erotikstars Kayden Kross und Jessica Drake moderiert.
Mit Awards in mehr als 140 Kategorien wurden damit in diesem Jahr so viele Awards wie noch nie zuvor in der Geschichte der XBIZ Awards für die herausragenden Leistungen von Personen und Firmen der Erotikindustrie verliehen.
So erhielt, wie schon vorab verkündet wurde, Larry Flynt mit dem „Industry Icon Award“ den neuen Ehrenpreis des XBIZ Magazins, der nur alle 10 Jahre verliehen werden soll.
Die XBIZ Awards 2012 bildeten zugleich das glanzvolle Ende von zwei weiteren großen Erotik Events, die in den USA am Dienstag zu Ende gingen. Dabei handelte es sich zum einen die XBIZ LA, eine Konferenz zu Digitalen Medien, und zum anderen um die Handelsmesse XBIZ Retail.
